After 28 years at UCLA, including the last 10 as the men's track and field coach, Art Venegas was let go. Here is the release from UCLA: ART VENEGAS WILL NOT RETURN AS UCLA HEAD MEN'S TRACK AND FIELD COACH Art Venegas, who has served as UCLA's head men's track and field coach for the past 10 years, will not return for the 2009-10 school year, it was announced today by Glenn L. Toth, Sr. Associate Athletic Director and sport supervisor for the track and field program.
