Can't Ask For Anything More ... (126 clicks)
Now you know why I had marked last night's game against Michigan State as a 'toss up' before the season began (and that was not even taking into account we'd go into that game without DC and Roll). I was dreading last night's match up all day. And at the end of the first half, I'd be lying if I sat that I wasn't searching for silver lining, and thinking how all we needed to do was to show some fight, learn from it, and get ready for it for rest of the season. **Great picture with this one**

Part of Darren Collison's return centers around having confidence that his knee is OK. Cedric Bozeman went through the same thing after his torn ACL. It happens to many athletes, and part of the rehab process is more mental than physical.

After a loss at Washington State, UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero was asked about the state of the Bruins' football program. "Obviously,'' he said, ''many of us were disappointed with the performance and the outcome up in Pullman on Saturday, but we still have our fate in our hands with four very tough conference games left to go -- two road games and two games at home. Bruin Baseball Scores Big In Early Signing Period (49 clicks)
With the early signing period opening Wednesday, the UCLA baseball team showed why they expect to stay on the national radar for a long time. Baseball isn't like basketball where nearly every recruit signs as early as they can. In baseball, only the top players sign early, but the Bruins certainly came out a winner as the signing period opened. The Bruins got six letters of intent on Wednesday, each from a player ranked in Basebal America's top 100. Their six top 100 players tied them with Georgia and Florida for the most top 100 players in the country.
