Jonesing for Jones (95 clicks)
How many more last minute rumors can there be? Well, maybe one more. I guess UCLA and Dan Guerrero are still looking at candidates. The name June Jones is being kicked around and his recent success at Hawaii has some in the athletic department enamored.

Here are the real problems at UCLA and with its coaching search (134 clicks)
There is a lot that could be written about the odyssey that is the UCLA coaching search, but there is so much backstory to what is going on in Westwood, that it is appropriate to deal with that end of this debacle before anyone can understand how we got to this point. Several people here at Coaches Hot Seat have lived on the westside of LA and we have attended dozens if not hundreds of UCLA football and basketball games and other sporting events on the UCLA campus.

Let Walker go to UW (67 clicks)
If Walker wants to go to UW, I say let him go. I question the premise that he wants to go to UW in the first place, and here's why: Tyrone Willingham is on the hottest of hot seats up in Seattle and he is exceedingly likely to be gone next year. Indeed the Coaches Hot Seat currently has him ranked #1. The Athletic Director recently resigned in a huff, presumably because the large boosters were urging him to fire Willingham for his less than stellar performance.

On Neuheisel's Record (148 clicks)
I see this posted a lot on message boards far and near, "Rick Neuheisel's teams didn't perform well after years one and two". They make this observation in reference to Rick's time at Colorado and Washington. Let's take these numbers and put them into some perspective shall we? Because, far too many Bruin fans who are critical of Neuheisel's record have completely lost their minds.

Decision 2007 (106 clicks)
With the recent notice from Al Golden that he is withdrawing his name from consideration (i.e. "I ain't gonna get the job, so screw you guys I'm going home") ... it is down to two. DeWayne Walker vs Rick Neuheisel. Defense vs Offense. Experience vs Freshness. It is decision 2007! And that much anticipated decision should be coming very, very, soon.
