How many former former Bruin basketball and football players attend games regularly? With so many living in SoCal, you would think it would be a lot, but the only one I spot attending regularly is Mike Warren, at least at Pauley. Unless I'm missing something, it's disappointing that more aren't in attendance, unless they're being honored for something, as with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar or Jamaal Wilkes.

Zone defenses taking over Pac-10 (51 clicks)
Pac-10 basketball teams are in the zone.
Once dominated by man-to-man defense, the conference has become home to an array of zones, from Arizona State's 2-3 matchup zone to Oregon State's 1-3-1 and a few hybrid schemes.
The trend may be a symptom of the Pac-10's overall weakness this season, because the league lacks point guards who can dissect zones and shooters who can score over them.
