I ran into UCLA receiver Terrence Austin on campus and asked him if he was going to participate in the high jump for the outdoor track season. "I don't know," he said. "I'm still waiting to find out." From whom?

No 7-on-7 yet (167 clicks)
I am told UCLA football still is doing one-on-one throwing between receivers and quarterbacks, and that seven-on-seven will begin next week. That said, the school goes on spring break at the end of the month before beginning spring practice April 3

Transition to Linebacker (132 clicks)
Saw this great read on Sports Illustrated about Bruce Davis transitioning from a defensive end in college to the linebacker position in the NFL. It will definitely be an uphill battle for him, as he'll be going against guys who have played that position for years.

FORMER IMPOSTERS ADD FOSTER TO ROSTER (193 clicks)
Carolina's loss is San Francisco's Treat: Running Back DeShaun Foster is now a member of the San Francisco Forty-Niners. Foster will now be kicking it into Ghiradelli for an up and coming team that features Alex Smith at Quarterback. Smith was injured last year, which is why they lost 8 straight and finished 5-11. The year before that, and this year before Smith's injury, the team had shown some promise.
