Ed O'Bannon: An All American All Over Again (104 clicks)
Leave it to the Trojan LA Times to publish baseless garbage letter smearing one of the greatest Bruins of all time. I was just as appalled as Barnes2JJ when I read the letter in the LA Times yesterday by some guy from New Port Beach attacking Ed O based on lies. Of course what the LA Times completely failed to do was report how Ed O's law suit against the NCAA has captured the attention of country coast to coast in a positive.

Upgrade or Downgrade? Left Guard (76 clicks)
In my "Upgrade or Downgrade? Left Tackle" post, I showed Micah Kia as the final starter for UCLA at left guard. This spring Darius Savage tops the depth chart, so the natural question would be whether or not Savage is an upgrade over Micah Kia. If I polled just based on that it would be a little deceptive since Darius Savage also started multiple games at left guard last season.

Upgrade or Downgrade? Left Tackle (102 clicks)
NI'm going to try to shorten these next 5 posts up so we can get through the offensive line quickly. I believe there is a pretty firm consensus that we are upgrading signficantly at the offensive line this year. For myself, I am very optimistic that Paclic will be able to be able to put together a serviceable starting 5 in 2009. I think most of us would agree it would be tough to get worse at offensive line than we were last year.
